IELTS cue card generator
Practise Speaking Part 2 the way the test runs: one card, one minute to prepare, two minutes to talk, then follow-up questions.
These are original practice cards, not real exam questions.
Pick a theme if you like, then press New card. There are 24 original cards.
No recording: practise out loud, or use your phone's voice recorder.
Full Speaking tests with the AI examiner are part of Pro, our paid plan. A free account gets one Part 1 trial after two graded Reading, Listening or Writing tests.

How does the cue card generator work?
Press New card to get a random Part 2 practice card. Press Start 1-minute prep to make notes, then speak when the 2-minute talk timer begins. When the talk ends, three Part 3 discussion questions appear.
Can I choose a theme?
Yes. Use the Theme menu to pick one of eight themes, such as People, Places or Future plans, or leave it on All themes for any card. The next card you draw will match your choice.
Does the tool record or mark my answer?
No. Nothing is recorded or saved. Speak out loud and, if you want to listen back, use your phone’s voice recorder. For feedback on a spoken answer, the AI examiner runs full Speaking tests, which are part of Pro, our paid plan. A free account gets one Part 1 trial after two graded Reading, Listening or Writing tests.
