Terms of Service

1. Who we are

IELTS Practice (“we”, “us”, the “Service”) is operated by Rooverr Technologies Inc, a Delaware corporation. By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to these Terms.

We are an independent practice platform and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to IDP, Cambridge English, or the British Council. “IELTS” is a trademark of its respective owners and is used here only to describe the exam our practice material is modelled on.

2. What the Service provides

The Service offers AI-generated IELTS-style practice in Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking, with automated feedback and progress tracking. All practice content is original and AI-generated; we do not reproduce official exam papers.

3. Accounts

You sign in with Google. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your email secure. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

4. Free tier

Free accounts include 2 graded practice attempts each in Reading, Listening, and Writing. Speaking and full mock exams are available only on a paid subscription.

5. Subscriptions, pricing & auto-renewal

We offer two subscription plans:

• Weekly — $8.99 USD, billed every week.
• Monthly — $24.99 USD, billed every month.

These are auto-renewing subscriptions. Your chosen plan renews automatically at the end of each billing period (weekly or monthly) and your payment method is charged again, until you cancel. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your full card details. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any taxes that may apply.

6. Cancellation

You can cancel anytime from your account settings. When you cancel, your subscription stops renewing and you keep paid access until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. After that, your account reverts to the free tier.

7. Refunds

Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods or unused time. If you cancel, you retain access until the end of the current period but are not refunded for it.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service: no sharing or reselling account access, no automated scraping, no attempts to disrupt or reverse-engineer the platform, and no uploading of unlawful or infringing content. We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms.

9. Scores are practice estimates

All scores, bands, and feedback are directional practice estimates generated by AI against the public IELTS band descriptors. They are not official IELTS results and do not predict or guarantee your score on the real exam.

10. Intellectual property

The Service, its software, and its practice content are owned by us or our licensors. You may use them for your personal exam preparation only.

11. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for exam outcomes. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or in the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and disputes will be subject to the state and federal courts located in the State of Delaware.
